

Pruning officially finished on Friday 26 August, a week before the start of spring on 1 September. The weather has been beautiful lately: blue skies, there’s this sweet smell in the air, the promise of spring.
The vineyard still looks dormant but a close up inspection of the vines shows tiny buds. We are ready and looking forward to a new season.
The Rugby World Cup 2011 will be dominating our lives in the next few months with the Russian team staying in Blenheim and many, many overseas visitors travelling through Marlborough. We look forward to seeing you in our cellar door if you are travelling through!
